The author continues his explanation about having to give up our own thoughts and learn to think “The Way” God thinks to understand the Bible. Following a review of the four previous issues (October 2020, January 2021, April 2021, and July 2021), he discusses the reasons why some struggle in their “walk” with the Lord. He goes on to explain the mind-set necessary to accept responsibility for what you have done, apologize to the Lord, and overcome the “winds.” He provides his translation of Paul’s admonition in Ephesians 4:7–32 and explains Paul’s point in that passage. He then discusses how to take the negative traits the “winds” have instilled in us and use those traits against them. The author concludes this article with more insight regarding how to triumph over the “winds.”
The “Questions & Answers” column begins with a question regarding the author’s intention in using ridicule in Wanna Hear a Whopper? and why he referred to other articles he has authored in that booklet. The next question concerns the number of years Adam lived and why God says what He does in Genesis 6:3. The majority of the “Questions & Answers” column is dedicated to a response to a question relating to The Hymn of the Pearl that was initially published in the February 1993 issue of The Voice of Elijah® Update.
